Driver SMS Consent & Enrollment
Leasing the Way uses Fleet Command to manage company vehicles and communicate with authorized drivers regarding vehicle operations, mileage reporting, maintenance, and inspections.
How Drivers Enroll
Driver enrollment in Leasing the Way's SMS communications program is handled in person during the vehicle assignment and onboarding process.
As part of this process, drivers are provided with the company's Vehicle Assignment Policy and Procedures, including information about operational text messaging.
Drivers are given the opportunity to review the SMS program terms and voluntarily provide their consent on the vehicle assignment acknowledgment form.
No online account or website enrollment is required.
Types of Text Messages
Drivers who choose to enroll may receive recurring text messages concerning:
